Suffolk County Water Autority gets a new look!
This building is located at the Gun Club rd intersection and its in a nice , residential area, so the building needed to look nice as well as be functional. The building has 2 large garage bays and a door in the middle that were previously white. I painted them with a decorative "carriage door" look. We used Sherwin Williams exterior grade metal paint in orange and painted the panels a barn red color. the result is very striking from the street!

My Lucky day!!!
So October 1, should be officially Arlene mcloughlin day!!! I submitted a photo of a mosaic floor I did a while ago to an online Decorative arts contest. Sponsored by Talk Faux, the prize was a very generous package og platser stencils from the very talented and innovative Victoria Larsen. i am proud to say I won the contest by votes from my talented peers and friends! I also had the good fortune of winning a 6 day lime Plaster class from Saffra plasters. I was randomly chosen from a postvard I sent to Doyle, the owner of the School of Italian plasters. What a day!!! Please visit http://www.victorialarsen.com/ to see the fabulous products and schooling these artists have to offer!!http://italianplasters.com/ http://www.joytothehome.com/blog/ http://talkfaux.com
